The Southern Newfoundland Club is keen to include all suitably qualified Newfoundland breeders (and those that may be considering breeding in the future) in the 'Better Breeders Scheme'.
The scheme and it's members promote the very best practice in breeding Newfoundland puppies.
By providing contact information and details of litters available the hope is that prospective puppy purchasers will be disuaded from contacting unscrupulous breeders, puppy dealers or puppy farmers who do so much harm to the breed and frequently produce puppies with health or behavioural problems which them become a heartache and worry for their owners.
Prospective members are asked to first review the qualifying criteria and scheme requirements which appear on the 'Scheme Requirments' page. If the minimum length of Breed Club membership is met and the criteria and requirments
of the scheme will be complied with the application form available here should be downloaded and completed. The completed form, together with the £10 one-off joining fee for non-SNC members should then be posted to;
